Origin

From an early age Askar Lashkin was surrounded by music. Born in 1989 in the city of Tashkent, then the capital of the Soviet republic of Uzbekistan.

His parents were both artists: his grandmother was a ballerina and his grandfather, worked in the famous group of folk dances. Even his parents studied music, his mother studied piano, his father studied accordion.

Education

Russian-uzbek baritone, he graduated in 2008 at the Tashkent Music College.

From 2008 to 2011 he attended the Tashkent State Arts University, where he underwent an intensive path of professionalization as: scenic art, choreography, acrobatics, stage fights, theatrical make-up.

He has over 3 years of experience in the Tashkent Operetta Theatre in Uzbekistan.

He was admitted to the Rossiniana Academy (ROF) 2020 in Pesaro.

He graduated at the Benedetto Marcello Music Conservatory in Venice (Italy) under the guidance of Giancarlo Pasquetto. He participated in master classes with: Sara Mingardo, Lorenzo Regazzo, Ewa liykowska, Barbara Frittoli, M° Nahel Al Halabi.

And currently it is under the guidance of M° Piero Guarnera.

He sang with renowned Conductors and Directors such as Franco Trinca, Marco Titotto, Fabrizio Da Ros, Maurizio Dini Ciacci, Alessandro Cadario, Enrico De Mori, Germano Neri;  Francesco Bellotto, Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau, Luca Micheletti, Milena Cocozza.

Career so far

In the season 2022 / 23

Engaged as a cover of Sam in the production «Trouble in Tahiti» L. Bernstein in the prestigious Carlo Felice theater in Genoa. 

Debut at the Teatro Regio (Turin) as Blasio in «La scuola de’ Gelosi» A. Salieri.

He made his debut in the role of Gaudenzio «Il Signor Bruschino» G. Rossini in the production of “AmaremantovaKIDS”

At the Mario Del Monaco Theater (Treviso) and the Theatre Verdi (Padova) as Visconte Cascada in «La Vedova Allegra» F. Lehàr.

In the period October-December he is busy touring the cities of Spain and France in the main role of the opera “Don Giovanni” by W.A. Mozart, production of the opera company Opera2001 in collaboration with Opera de Massy.

He made his debut as Maestro Biscroma Strappaviscere in «Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali» by G. Donizetti at the Mario Del Monaco Municipal Theatre of Treviso, Marco «Gianni Schicchi».

It was Gasparo in «Rita», Marchese d’Obigny in «Traviata».

He performed as a soloist in the «Missa in tempore belli» by Haydn, in the Concert dedicated to the centenary of the great war at the “La Fenice” Theater (Venice).

He made his debut at the Academic Theater of Castelfranco Veneto in the role of Figaro «Il Barbiere di Siviglia». Participates in various productions such as Figaro in Veneto, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna.

He successfully performed, «Carmina Burana» by Carl Orff, also «Messa di Gloria» by Puccini as a baritone soloist.

He debuted as Ping «Turandot» in the production of Europa InCanto, taking part in the great national tour and that will lead him to perform in the prestigious theaters of Italy: the San Carlo Theater of Naples, the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the Rendano theater of Cosenza, the theaters Argentina and Eliseo of Rome, the Teatro della Pergola of Florence, the Pergolesi theater of Jesi, the Vittorio Emanuele theater of Messina, Theater F. Vespasiano fo Rieti. Also selected for the European tour in: Belgium, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Albania.

He debuted as Don Giovanni for the production of the homonymous work by W.A.Mozart.

For ROF 2020 in Pesaro, where in «Il Viaggio a Reims» played the role of Don Profondo.

He made his debut in the role of Don Parmenione «L’Occasione fa il Ladro» in the historic review “Courts, churches and courtyards”.

Not only Opera ...

He made his film debut in Italy. He plays a character in an episode of the 8th season of the television series «Inspector Coliandro» on RAI2, alongside Giampaolo Morelli and Sabrina Impacciatore.
