About the baritone and his career and life so far ...
From an early age Askar Lashkin was surrounded by music. Born in 1989 in the city of Tashkent, then the capital of the Soviet republic of Uzbekistan. His parents were both artists: his grandmother was a ballerina and his grandfather, worked in the famous group of folk dances. Even his parents studied music, his mother studied piano, his father studied accordion.
Russian-uzbek baritone, he graduated in 2008 at the Tashkent Music College.
From 2008 to 2011 he attended the Tashkent State Arts University, where he underwent an intensive path of professionalization as: scenic art, choreography, acrobatics, stage fights, theatrical make-up.
He has over 3 years of experience in the Tashkent Operetta Theatre in Uzbekistan.
He graduated at the Benedetto Marcello Music Conservatory in Venice (Italy) under the guidance of Giancarlo Pasquetto. He participated in master classes with: Sara Mingardo, Lorenzo Regazzo, Prof.ssa Ewa liykowska, Barbara Frittoli, M. Nahel Al Halabi.
And currently it is under the guidance of M° Piero Guarnera.
He was selected after several auditions organized by different cultural associations for the concert seasons, including: Circolo Della Lirica (Padua), Cantiere all’opera (Padua), Teatroperando (Bologna), Oltreilteatro (Turin), Vicenza in Lirica (Vicenza), AICS (Padua), Amici della Russia (Padua), Comitato Mascagnano “Amici della Lirica” (Bagnara di Romagna), Russkie Motivi Stravinsky (Milan), Tournée “Opera di Mosca”, Musica a Palazzo (Venice), Orchestra “Nova Symphonia Patavina” (Padua), Venice Chamber Orchestra (Venice), I Musici Patavini, DonneInMusica (Pisa), Europa InCanto (Rome), Mythos Opera Festival (Sicily), Impresa Lirica Francesco Tamagno (Turin), Association Tito Gobbi (Rome), Lirica Trevigiana (Treviso).
It was directed, among the many directors, by Franco Trinca, Marco Titotto, Maurizio Dini Ciacci, Alessandro Cadario, Enrico De Mori, Germano Neri; among the directors with whom I collaborated are Francesco Bellotto, Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau, Milena Cocozza.
Career so far…
He made his debut as Maestro Biscroma Strappaviscere in “Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali” by G. Donizetti at the Mario Del Monaco Municipal Theatre of Treviso, it was Gasparo in “Rita” G. Donizetti) in Venice, Marchese d’Obigny in “Traviata” G. Verdi in Bologna. He performed as a soloist in the “Missa in tempore belli” by Haydn, in the Concert dedicated to the centenary of the great war at the “La Fenice” Theater (Venice).
In May 2018 he made his debut at the Academic Theater of Castelfranco Veneto in the role of Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia, G. Rossini) conducted by M° Marco Titotto. Participates in various productions such as Figaro in Veneto, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna.
He successfully performed, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff for the 40th of the Anzolim De La Tor Choir of Riva del Garda, also “Messa di Gloria” by Puccini as a baritone soloist.
He debuted as Ping “Turandot” in the production of Europa InCanto,
taking part in the great national tour and that will lead him to perform in
the prestigious theaters of Italy: the San Carlo Theater of Naples, the
Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the Rendano theater of Cosenza, the
theaters Argentina and Eliseo of Rome, the Teatro della Pergola of
Florence, the Pergolesi theater of Jesi, the Vittorio Emanuele theater of
Messina, Theater F. Vespasiano fo Rieti. Also selected for the European
tour in: Belgium, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Albania.
In October, he debuted as Don Giovanni for the production of the
homonymous work by W.A.Mozart, staged by the Accademia in Opera –
Accademia Filarmonica and Venice Chamber Orchestra.
He plays a character in an episode of the 8th season of the television series “Inspector Coliandro” on RAI2, alongside Giampaolo Morelli and Sabrina Impacciatore.
He was admitted to the Rossiniana Academy (ROF) 2020 in Pesaro, where in “Il Viaggio a Reims” played the role of Don Profondo.
He was eligible for auditions for the Genoa International Music Youth Festival (GIMYF), for the staging of “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”, and for the concert season.
He made his debut in the role of Don Parmenione “L’Occasione fa il ladro” in the historic review “Courts, churches and courtyards”, with the Italian Classical Orchestra conducted by Maestro Fabrizio Da Ros.
He plays Marco in the opera “Gianni Schicchi” for the Magia dell’Opera project in the production of the Tito Gobbi and Lirica Trevigiana Music Association.
Performs concert activities in Italy and abroad.
